means : horn beast

done from antelope horn,bruyere wood,silver,
Lapislazuli and chrysoprase

done in summer 2008 during I was sick with some kind
of flu and been not at work for one week.
It was my first outburst of creativity since long time,
and for me a symbol of self-reempowement of being
artist.During the time I worked on this came the insight
to quit my job and work as artist again.

Ahh...and I have to add to say : it´s a container -
the head is removable

I've looked at this several times now, and it's just amazing.

One question: Did you do something to the horn to make it this color? I've only seen this type in black.

The colour is like I got it.
They do exist in black and in this light yellowish colour.
I don´t exactly know from what kind of antelope those
horns come.My guess is the Saiga from Central Asia
